Summer Reading - Book-a-Day Challenge: Where are you?

It took me a couple of days to get settled, but I'm at 7 "books" by our count... Need some ideas? I'll put mine HERE on the Language blog. There's a tab at the top to click on it!

Summer Hair 2013

Just in case you were wondering, yes...

Now that we're out of school for the summer, I have colored my hair. It will look "normal" again when we start next year! Have a fun summer!

P.S. I'm about to start reading a book a day (I know, I am one day behind)...what about you?

Moving Rooms...and Missing Books

Dear Students of Room 401 -
I will be in a different room for next year. We will move to room 406 (Mrs. Southwick's room) on Tuesday afternoon. Our classes will meet in room 406 on Wednesday and Thursday next week.

All of the missing books need to be returned before we move. I am sad to say that some of the most popular books this year are missing...please check this list to see which ones are Missing In Action! This comes to a total of approximately $120...that's a lot of money. I am happy that you loved the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, I just wish they hadn't all disappeared. So many kids loved The Maze Runner this year, but they won't be able to read it next year if it isn't returned or paid for. Please be responsible!

Sincerely, Mrs. White
